Rane and I got to practice our storm chasing skills recently. We didn’t notice the rodent-cloud as we were driving west toward town, and when we noticed it when we turned south to drop Trin off at school, we decided it was worth photographing. But, as we drove back east, the cloud was obscured by trees, and we found ourselves hurriedly backtracking west and south to find a clear place to take photos before the cloud transformed into something else – or dissipated entirely.
